Black Cod Week in Sonoma
October 18 - October 27
This October 18-27, discover the delicious and sustainable taste of Sonoma County’s black cod (also called sablefish) on select Sonoma Valley restaurants menu.
Locally-caught black cod will be featured not just in Sonoma Valley, but throughout Sonoma County, as diners enjoy the buttery and flaky fish that is caught by the fleet of local fishing boats out of nearby Bodega Bay.
As famed wine country chef John Ash once noted, “I’ve been asked in the past ‘If you had to eat only one fish … what would it be?’ Without question it’s black cod.”
